Motokaga Plaza
Motokaga Plaza has a secret park in it, unmarked on all the maps. Also because its tucked in an alley like way, and covered by trees its not easily visible from the streets, making this secret park a great place to avoid the crowds.
The good:
1. Location is tucked away and hidden away from the Tokyo Crowds.
2. Good amount of shade and seats for Parents
3. Jungle Gym is one of the more challenging ones.
The bad:
- Construction. The plaza is directly connected to the main entrance of a Apartment Complex which has been constantly under construction.
The Park:
The best part of this park is they have a little of everything. Its not the new style generic jungle gym, its a generation or so older. This jungle gym has a lot of variations, filled with challenging climbs. This one isn't for the smaller kids.
The use of a weather coated wood was a nice touch as a parent who grew up on wood jungle gyms.
There are two slides, at varying levels. Both slides have slight ridges on them, so there isn't as many accidental slips down or for a more controlled decent. Both slides are the wavy slides.
The net ladder leads to a net floor, which is pretty difficult to get on.
Juno's Favorite:
We mainly stuck around the sandbox, where Juno played house on the toy ship structure.
