Fukagawa Park
A great park with two main Jungle Gyms, a large sand box and a lot of open space. What really makes it stand out amongst the rest is the Fire Truck shaped jungle gym.
Every part of the Fire Truck is made to be played with. You can go through the tires and into the truck. You can go to the front and steer it. On top, there are little fires colored in. Also it is accessible to the younger ones as well with a wide staircase in the back.
Across the Fire Truck is another jungle gym that is wheel chair accessible. This is the first Jungle Gym, I have ever found that claims to be wheel chair accessible, but really its just a ramp to the center, where there are stairs going up to the slide.
Also, the tubed slide is much wider than normal ones, which makes it really easy for parents to go down with there kids.
The park has direct access to the Tomioka Hachiman Shrine which gave me and the kids a good break from running around to eat our ice creams.
Juno's Favorite:
Racing down the slides on the fire truck and putting out imaginary fires.
