Hey Mason, happy Thursday! Making pizza at home is easy!

Hey Mason, happy pizza day! Today I thought I'd show you how easy it is to make a pizza. You mentioned that I had pizza experience and it's true. I drove for Domino's Pizza, I managed Domino's Pizza, I worked for a pizza shop in San Francisco that I swear was a front for some sort of money laundering operation. And actually, one of the things I did here in Japan is I taught a English cooking class. And I showed people how to make pizza and sauce. So today, I thought I'd do it really quickly and try and show you how easy it is to make pizza at home. This is my Kitchenaid. I did bring it from America. I'm using this today because I'm lazy, but I usually do this by hand. Ok, first thing you need flour. This is a mix of all purpose flour and (durum) semolina. It's pretty simple how it all comes together. First, some salt. Then you mix. Just to incorporate. Yeast. Just to incorporate. Olive oil (EVOO). And water. Give it a little stir. Scrape. So, I'm just gonna let this mix for 5 or 10 minutes, and, um, we'll come back. Alright, see ya in a bit. So I think this is almost ready. I usually like to hand knead it to, um, finish it. The fun thing about pizza is you can do it with kids, and you can do it with adults. I mean, kids love to, you know, knead the dough, knead the dough, knead the dough. Today we're having mushrooms, onions, yellow peppers, and sausage. (Look at that. That's nice. That kinda comes out when you push it, right. Got a little spring to it.) Adults really like to make their own pizza, so you get the best of both worlds. If you have a pizza party, your kids can be entertained and your adult friends can be entertained. Everybody can make pizza and be involved in the process. And then, they can top it the way they like. See ya in a little bit. Ok, while the dough is proofing, proving, it's rising, we're gonna make the sauce. Got some garlic, salt, sugar, whole tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil. So, gonna add that all to the blender and blend it up. Mmm. smells good. Mmm, little sweet, little garlicky, tomatoey, that'll be really nice when it mixes with the cheese. Your sauce! The oven's been preheating to 250 degrees Celsius. I've already split up the dough. Basically, the recipe I use, you get four 250 gram little dough balls. What I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna (Papa) roll it out, and, uh, start making a pizza. Cool, right on! (Papa, I want to make a pizza too.) You gotta get dressed first. Now it's about the right size, we're gonna put the sauce and stuff on it ok. (I want to make, I want to do it too papa. I want to make the pizza too papa.) Kids love to make pizza. (Papa, can I make the pizza too?) Are you dressed? (Not yet.) Into the oven it goes. Ok, pizza's done. Here it is. Yum! So, now I'm gonna let it cool for a minute and cut it and eat it. Alright Mason, before I do all that, I have a question for you. I went to a restaurant the other day, and I was with my family. And, I noticed that the servings on the kid's menu are kind of big. So I was wondering, I was like, hmmmm, should I order off the kid's menu? I don't know? Can I? Should I? Kinda strange. But, I was wondering, what do you think? Do you ever order off the kids menu? Hmmm, let me know man. Alright bro, peace! See ya!
